Azerbaijan orders digital monitoring for its mining and metallurgy programme
An October 5 Cabinet order assigns CAERC to create an online monitoring module for the 2027–2030 mining and metallurgy programme, with reporting duties beginning in 2027.
Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers issued Order No. 744s on 5 October to implement the state programme for developing mining, metallic ores and metallurgy during 2027–2030. The order assigns the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) to create a monitoring and reporting module within the e-monitoring portal within three months; programme monitoring is to move to that module from the following year.
The order sets future reporting schedules rather than reporting completed programme results. Implementing bodies must begin submitting project information quarterly in 2027, by the 15th day of the month after each quarter, and annual measure results by 25 February from 2028. CAERC is to report monitoring results to the Cabinet annually by 30 April from 2028, with programme evaluations due by 30 June in 2029 and 2031.
