The Russian miner says engineering surveys at its Kychus project in Yakutia have led into facility design and contractor selection; it reports an approved gold-reserve estimate of 188.6 tonnes.
Seligdar said on 7 October that it had moved the Kychus mining and processing complex in northern Yakutia into direct design after carrying out engineering surveys since spring 2026. The company also said it was selecting a construction contractor, describing these as project-development steps rather than completed construction.
The update says geological exploration has been completed and Russia’s State Commission for Mineral Reserves approved the feasibility study for permanent exploration conditions and the reserve calculation, which Seligdar reports at 188.6 tonnes of gold. The release does not give a construction start date, project cost or operating output in this announcement.
