Seligdar and aerospace company BURO 1440 signed a forward contract for satellite communications for several gold-production complexes in Seligdar’s Aldan cluster, the miner said on 8 October. The announcement names the Digital Solutions forum as the signing venue but does not separately state the contract-signing date.
After testing, Seligdar plans to use BURO 1440’s solutions for the Kychus development project in Arctic Yakutia. The proposed connectivity would support industrial equipment, automation, mining machinery and fixed and mobile communications for staff at a future production complex. The release describes a planned service and gives no latency, investment, output-gain or completed Kychus deployment figures.
