Story details
Seligdar said on 1 October that Russia’s Glavgosexpertiza had issued a positive conclusion on project documentation for a mining complex at the Gladkoye deposit in Aldan district, Yakutia. The company said exploration from 2016 to 2023 included 421 drilled boreholes with a combined length of more than 30,000 linear metres. The source does not give the date on which the review conclusion itself was issued.
The company reported balance reserves of 1,742 kg of gold and 15.5 tonnes of silver, and off-balance reserves of 2,583 kg of gold and 21.8 tonnes of silver. These are the source’s distinct Russian reserve categories and are not recast here as internationally classified economic reserves. Seligdar also said an approximately 10-km road is being built to support future ore transport to its Samolazovsky processing complex; the announcement does not report a mine start-up or production.
