Story details
Rosseti Tyumen said it completed preparations of electricity-network equipment for winter in Tobolsk Municipal District. The company reported work at 687 transformer substations and three high-voltage supply centres, as well as on more than 25 kilometres of power lines. It also said 124 poles were replaced or reinforced and foundations at 104 poles were strengthened.
The release lists repairs to nine high-voltage equipment units, including eight switches, installation of more than three kilometres of insulated self-supporting wire, replacement of 152 insulators and installation of 370 bird-protection devices, and clearing of more than 330 hectares beneath lines. The utility said the installed components were Russian-made. It reported completed maintenance, not a measured change in outage rates or a quantified winter reliability outcome.
