Jordan’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and Jordanian Petroleum Products Marketing Company JoPetrol signed a memorandum of understanding to expand cybersecurity cooperation. Petra’s Oct. 8 report identified the signatories as NCSC President Mohammad Smadi and JoPetrol Director General Khaled Al-Zoubi.
The agreement covers employee awareness, participation in national capacity-building programs, cybersecurity exercises, workshops and knowledge sharing. It also aims to support JoPetrol’s cybersecurity governance and compliance work. The announcement reported no measured security gains or completed implementation results, describing these as aims of the cooperation.
