Russia’s System Operator said on 9 October that it had published information required for the competitive selection of thermal power plant generating-equipment modernization projects for 2030. The rules and selection procedure cited in the notice were those in force on 9 October 2026; technical data for generating units in the preliminary participant register are available in market participants’ personal sections.
The notice sets two submission windows: technical project parameters from 14 to 16 October 2026, followed by cost parameters from 29 to 30 October. These are scheduled steps in the selection process; the notice does not report selected projects, awards or a completed modernization.
