Story details

Jordan ranked among the top 10 of 192 countries in a Postal Development Index assessment covering digital transformation, digital government services, e-commerce and cybersecurity, according to a Jordan Post statement reported by Petra on Oct. 9. The company said the figures came from the Universal Postal Union’s 2026 annual statistical report.

Jordan Post reported 10 active digital dimensions out of 10, a digital coverage breadth score of 100, a digital development depth score of 69.1 and a composite score of 84.5 out of 100. The assessment concerns digital development in postal services; it should not be read as an overall measure of physical delivery performance. Petra attributed the ranking and scores to Jordan Post’s statement.
