Story details
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Energy issued 149 permits during the third quarter of 2026, according to a ministry notice dated October 8. The count covers permits processed under export-control rules as well as one permit for items subject to restrictions on civil circulation. The ministry said all were issued through ASAN Service Center No. 7.
The breakdown was 141 import permits, five export-control permits for goods, works, services or intellectual-property results, and two transit permits. One additional permit concerned circulation of items restricted in civil circulation. The categories sum to the ministry’s reported total of 149.
The figures measure ministry administrative activity for a three-month period. They do not state the value, volume, destination or energy-sector content of the goods and services covered, and they do not show whether permits resulted in completed shipments. The release does not compare the total with Q2 or the same quarter last year.
The ministry’s notice provides counts but no further breakdown by applicant, commodity, transaction value or processing time. The data therefore support a report of permit issuance in Q3, rather than a broader claim about Azerbaijan’s trade performance or energy production.
