A Comune di Marsala notice dated 10 October says water supply in the city’s northern area has returned to normal. The municipal water-service office reported that crews repaired damage caused by a tornado to the electrical cabins and control panels at the San Silvestro pumping station.
The municipality said residents who still needed water could continue to request delivery by the municipal tanker. Requests were available through the Municipium app or the city website. The notice did not specify how many customers were affected, when the damage occurred, or the volume of water restored.
