The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT) listed the national self-service averages for 10 October at €2.035 per litre for petrol and €2.252 per litre for diesel on the road network. Its table compared these with €2.035 and €2.258 on the previous day, respectively, leaving petrol unchanged and diesel €0.006 lower.
For motorway service areas, the same update showed petrol at €2.045 per litre, against €2.046 the day before, and diesel at €2.271, against €2.281. These are the ministry’s published average-price observations for the two network categories, not a price quote for an individual station.
