Story details

The University of Messina’s Department of Chemical, Biological, Pharmaceutical and Environmental Sciences said in a notice dated 10 October that AMAM had communicated restoration of the water service at Building A of the Papardo campus. The department said the problem that had interrupted water delivery was resolved.

The notice said teaching, scientific and administrative activities could resume regularly and thanked people for their cooperation during the disruption. It did not give the restoration time, the cause or duration of the interruption, or counts of affected staff and students. The department’s announcement reports the service status at the building; it does not quantify a wider municipal water impact.
