Afubra interview explains battery storage for farms, homes and industry
Afubra energy-efficiency manager Elieser do Prado Bastos explains battery banks and BESS and discusses their potential uses in rural, residential and industrial settings.
In its 10 October program, Brazil’s Afubra featured energy-efficiency manager and engineer Elieser do Prado Bastos explaining how battery banks and battery energy storage systems (BESS) work. The organization’s post identifies him as the guest in a segment on new energy technologies.
Afubra says Bastos discussed how these systems could contribute to rural properties, homes and industry. The post gives no capacity, cost, installation or performance figures, so it supports a description of the applications under discussion rather than a measured assessment of BESS deployment. Current deployment is not quantified.
