Germany’s national weather service, the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD), issued its report at 20:00 CEST on Saturday, 10 October. It said windy conditions would continue at sea and forecast unsettled weather on Sunday, 11 October, as colder maritime air remained over Germany before high pressure gradually moved in from the southwest.
The report forecast isolated thunderstorms near and over the North Sea overnight, with gusts reaching 70 km/h. Repeated showers from the East Frisian Islands to Dithmarschen could bring 20–35 mm in several hours and 30–50 mm by Sunday midday. Coastal gusts of 50–70 km/h were forecast overnight, then around 55 km/h along coasts and in a belt from the North Sea to central Germany on Sunday, easing later. These are forecast values; the report confirms no damage or transport disruption.
