Story details

The DAEE-hosted water-resources dashboard for São Paulo state showed 54.9% useful storage in the Rio Claro system for 10 October. The page says it normally updates daily at 09:00. The system includes Ribeirão do Campo reservoir and transferred water from the Guaratuba River; water is treated at Casa Grande and supplies part of eastern São Paulo city and Santo André.

Systemwide inflow was 5.67 m³/s, including transfers. Outflow was 5.89 m³/s and includes discharges, withdrawals and transfers. Casa Grande treatment-plant flow was 2.33 m³/s. The dashboard also reported 11.4 mm of rainfall accumulated over the preceding 24 hours, without specifying the exact interval start. These are dated operational readings, not a forecast of future supply.
