Story details

An ODRÉ data refresh processed at 06:30 UTC on 10 October lists France’s national annualized renewable-gas indicator (IGRa) at 3.19% for August 2026. The published series shows 3.21% for July and 3.22% for June 2026; the August 2025 value was 3.54%, making the latest reading 0.35 percentage points lower year on year.

ODRÉ says the indicator annualizes renewable-gas production over the latest three months by multiplying it by four, then divides by gas consumption in the previous year. It is therefore a derived indicator using different time windows for numerator and denominator, not the actual same-month renewable share or a forecast. The August value is the latest reporting month in the 10 October refresh; no cause for the change is established by this series.
