Story details

Jordan’s Land Transport Regulatory Commission announced that regular service on route 40042 between the Mahatta transport complex in Amman and Fuheis is scheduled to begin on Sunday, 11 October. Petra reported the commission’s statement on 10 October. The route is being operated in coordination with the Integrated Multi-Modal Transport Company.

The published timetable lists four trips a day in each direction, split between morning and evening, and a fixed fare of 70 qirsh per passenger per trip. The commission said the connection is intended to link Fuheis with the capital for work, study and services. It plans to monitor performance and passenger uptake during the initial operating phase; the notice does not report realized ridership.
