Acque closes Latignano drinking-water fountain after equipment fault
Acque said a high-quality water fountain on Via Risorgimento in Latignano was switched off on Saturday, 10 October, after an equipment fault; reopening is planned for 16 October.
Acque's notice says an equipment fault required the temporary shutdown on 10 October of the high-quality water fountain on Via Risorgimento in Latignano, within the municipality of Cascina. The operator currently expects to reactivate it on Friday, 16 October.
Users can instead go to fountains at Largo Gori in Navacchio, Via della Repubblica in Lavaiano or Piazza La Torre in Pardossi. The notice does not describe the cause of the fault or confirm that repair work is complete; 16 October is a planned reopening date.
