Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a cooperation agreement with Siemens on 28 September to support industrial digital transformation and advanced technology adoption. The companies’ representatives signed it on the sidelines of the UAE Investment Forum in Munich. The framework covers innovation, sustainability, skills and capacity building, and is intended to help private-sector companies in Abu Dhabi strengthen digital readiness and competitiveness.

The parties said their work could include programmes for automation, smart manufacturing and Fourth Industrial Revolution applications, as well as awareness of the Digital Product Passport and related traceability requirements. The Chamber described the agreement as a way to connect local firms with Siemens expertise and practical tools.
