ADNOC announced on 5 October that it had signed a multi-year liquefied natural gas (LNG) sales and purchase agreement with Gulf Group, a Thai energy and infrastructure company. Under the agreement, ADNOC Trading will deliver approximately 2 million tonnes of LNG over the term, with supply starting in 2027.
The company said the agreement extends a partnership established through an initial LNG supply deal in 2025. ADNOC also said its global LNG marketing and trading platform began operating in Abu Dhabi Global Market in July 2026 and enabled the new agreement.
