Aker Solutions’ May 5 release announces FEED for the Kvitebjørn platform to accommodate the Atlantis subsea tie-in. The contract includes an option for later EPCIc scope.
An option should not be read as an exercised firm order. Technical assessment needs to test the new flow against platform capacity, shutdown planning and safety limits. Reusing infrastructure does not automatically eliminate every tie-in risk.
