Story details
Blossom Gold announced additional Rosebud drilling results on 28 October from Pershing County, Nevada. In the East Zone, RC26-012 returned 128.0 metres grading 1.19 grams per tonne gold, including 37.1 metres at 2.82 grams per tonne. The company reports these intervals as true thicknesses, accounting for drill inclination, unless otherwise stated.
The East Zone results test a previously unmined gap between historical mining areas. Follow-up exploration and metallurgical core drilling are under way. At the South Zone, RC26-008 returned 149.4 metres at 0.21 grams per tonne gold, illustrating that broad mineralised thicknesses can include considerably lower average grades.
Four rigs are operating, with approximately 11,585 metres remaining in the surface programme. An 8,230-metre underground infill campaign is expected to begin in December. These are separate programmes and schedules; remaining planned metres should not be counted as completed drilling.
Blossom expects an updated mineral resource estimate in the first quarter of 2027. Ongoing metallurgical work will also improve understanding of metal recoveries. The new drilling provides data for resource and development evaluation, while the company’s planned open-pit and heap-leach concept still requires technical assessment and subsequent implementation decisions.
