Hanwha Finance announced expanded cooperation with Abu Dhabi’s financial ecosystem after agreements were signed at the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum in Seoul. On 18 September, WAM reported that Hanwha Life had partnered with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office to explore digital finance, connections between Korean and Abu Dhabi capital markets, and digital banking innovation. The parties also planned to examine tokenisation of real-world assets, including property.
Separately, Hanwha Asset Management, ADGM and Hana Financial Group signed a memorandum to explore stablecoins and cross-border financial infrastructure, including payment and remittance options between Korea and Abu Dhabi. Hanwha Finance also partnered with ADGM for Abu Dhabi Finance Week in December 2026.
