The Arab East Conference for Agricultural Exports concluded in Amman on Sept. 16 with adoption of a declaration on agricultural integration and exports, Petra reported. It brought together more than 1,000 business and agricultural leaders, importers from 25 countries and 35 expert speakers.

Petra reported that the 218 B2B sessions also secured agency agreements, trade contracts and new channels for regional cooperation. Participants agreed on steps including a permanent regional committee, a shared agricultural calendar and work on mutual recognition of certificates.
