Jordan’s tourism minister Imad Hijazeen began an official programme in Japan on Sept. 24, meeting representatives of travel company JTB Corp. and the Japan Association of Travel Agents, Petra reported. The discussions focused on cooperation and increasing Japanese visitor numbers to Jordan.

The meetings aimed to move Jordan-Japan tourism ties beyond promotion toward partnerships and to present Jordan as a destination for cultural, religious and tourism experiences in Asia.
