Jordan Tourism Board opened a representative office in China under an agreement announced Sept. 10, Petra reported. The office is intended to promote Jordan as a destination and build links with Chinese travel agencies and tour operators.
The launch included a presentation on Chinese tourism demand, a proposed strategy and ways to attract more visitors. The Board said the office would help develop sustainable partnerships, promotional tools and Jordan’s competitiveness in the Chinese market, Petra reported.
