Story details
MB Gold announced on 28 October that it had received the remaining assays from its 4,308-metre reverse circulation programme across Twin Veins and Razorback at the Marble Bar gold project in Western Australia. The latest disclosure covers the final 14 holes from the 20-hole Razorback programme drilled in September.
Hole 26MBRC070 returned 12 metres grading 3.85 grams of gold per tonne from 50 metres, including one metre at 30 g/t from 57 metres. Other reported results include five metres at 1.13 g/t from 86 metres in 26MBRC071 and three metres at 1.95 g/t from 68 metres in 26MBRC076. The narrow high-grade sample is part of the wider interval and should not be added to it as a separate thickness.
The company said the new results confirm historical mineralisation and reinforce Razorback as a focus for further work. Mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth. That description identifies directions requiring more exploration; it does not quantify additional resources beyond the completed drilling.
A 2,000-metre diamond drilling programme is scheduled to start in November, with assays expected in the first quarter of 2027. Further extensional drilling is also a focus for 2027. The new laboratory results provide evidence for geological interpretation, while the definition of a gold resource and any subsequent development case still require additional work.
