Story details
Pacifica Silver released results on 28 October from 27 additional holes at its Claudia project in Durango, Mexico. Hole 26CLAU150D returned an estimated true-width interval of 5.04 metres grading 8.72 grams per tonne gold and 49 grams per tonne silver, including 1.03 metres at 35.83 grams per tonne gold and 159 grams per tonne silver.
The hole was part of a step-out approximately 500 metres from earlier work on the Central Vein. The company interprets an emerging higher-grade shoot extending approximately 750 metres along strike. These are exploration interpretations supported by drilling, rather than a declaration that all intervening ground has been fully defined.
The programme also extended testing of the Aguilareña Vein southward, while initial Judy-target holes returned modest grades despite evidence of hydrothermal alteration. Pacifica’s reported headline interval widths are estimated true widths; they should be distinguished from the longer lengths measured along drillholes.
The expanded Phase 2 programme totals 30,000 metres, with four rigs operating. By 26 October, 27,941 metres had been drilled in 118 holes. A first mineral resource estimate is planned for 2027. That planned estimate remains subject to completion and interpretation of the programme; the current assays do not themselves establish mineral reserves.
