Qatar’s real estate regulator Aqarat reported sales worth QAR 654.4 million across 133 transactions for September 20–26. In its September 27 update, it said the sales value rose 21.5% from the previous week and 3.7% from the corresponding week a year earlier.
The number of sales fell 5% week on week and 9.5% year on year. Separately, 29 mortgage transactions totalled QAR 978.92 million, while 499 rental contracts were valued at QAR 6.07 million. The update reported each of these market activities as a separate measure.
