Story details
Incoming payments processed through the Bank of Russia in September 2026 were 3.3% above the average level in the second quarter, the central bank said on 8 October. Across the third quarter, the reported increase in incoming payments was 0.8%.
After excluding mining, petroleum-product manufacturing and public administration, incoming payments in Q3 were 3.7% higher, according to the same release. These are payment-flow indicators derived from transactions processed through the Bank of Russia, not a direct measure of total company revenue or output.
The September comparison uses the Q2 average as its reference, while the Q3 figures compare quarter-level inflows. The exclusion-adjusted number changes the set of sectors included and should be read separately from the overall result.
The monitor is a dated statistical signal about payment activity. It does not identify each individual transaction or establish why payments changed in every sector. The percentages are reported observations, not a forecast; the Bank’s publication links readers to the full sectoral-flow monitoring series.
