Story details
Tverstat’s socio-economic bulletin dated 2 October reports that Tver Oblast’s industrial production index for January–August 2026 was 99.4% of the same period in 2025. For August alone, the index was 93.8% year on year.
Construction work was valued at RUB 81,389 million over January–August and RUB 16,880 million in August. The reported volume indices were 119.4% for the eight-month period and 168.1% for August, each compared with its corresponding 2025 period.
The bulletin also gives a nominal average monthly wage of RUB 80,041 for January–August, 9.7% higher year on year. These are regional aggregates covering the oblast; the industrial index combines several activities, including mining, manufacturing, energy and utilities.
Monthly and cumulative indicators use different comparison periods and should not be conflated. The bulletin’s table marks some wage inputs as preliminary. It is a dated statistical snapshot, not a forecast or evidence about a particular company, mine or well.
