Story details
Saudi dairy and food producer Almarai reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of SAR 6.19 billion, up 11% from SAR 5.55 billion a year earlier, the Saudi Press Agency reported on October 5. Revenue for the first nine months rose 10% to SAR 18.22 billion from SAR 16.61 billion. Third-quarter net profit increased 1% to SAR 617.8 million from SAR 613.2 million.
The company attributed the modest profit increase to an improved revenue mix, largely offset by higher dairy-feed shipping and distribution costs linked to energy expenses. Nine-month net profit was broadly stable at SAR 1.99 billion. SPA also reported differing category performance: dairy and juice benefited from demand and mix, bakery improved, while protein profit contribution fell amid supply conditions, distribution costs and ramp-up costs.
