The tourism and investment ministries announced 19 approved hospitality projects across five Saudi destinations, with projected investment of SAR 6.7 billion and more than 17,000 jobs. The programme provides targeted enablers intended to reduce operating costs.
The ministries project over 3,000 additional hotel rooms, more than SAR 2.4 billion in annual direct GDP contribution by 2030, and over SAR 5.3 billion in local content. These are programme estimates; the first project is expected to open by end-2026 and the final projects by 2029.
