Story details

Saudi Arabia, Russia, Iraq, Kuwait, Kazakhstan, Algeria and Oman met virtually on October 4 to review global oil-market conditions and the outlook, the Saudi Press Agency reported. The seven OPEC+ participants had previously announced additional voluntary adjustments in April and November 2023. Following the review, they decided to maintain their September 2026 required production levels for November 2026.

The countries reiterated their commitment to full conformity with the Declaration of Cooperation and said they would continue monthly reviews. Their next meeting was scheduled for November 1, 2026. The announcement describes the decision as a collective step by the seven participants; it does not provide new production quotas in the text summary or announce a separate change to the wider OPEC+ agreement.
