Story details
Saudi Arabia’s National Debt Management Center announced on September 16 that it had closed the month’s issuance under the government’s riyal-denominated sukuk program. The total allocation was SAR 1.640 billion. The center reported six tranches, with maturities spanning 2029 to 2041, for investors in the domestic market.
The allocations were SAR 205 million due in 2029, SAR 650 million in 2031, SAR 50 million in 2033, SAR 25 million in 2036, SAR 5 million in 2039 and SAR 705 million in 2041. The announcement reports the distribution and maturities but does not give an order-book total, yields or investor breakdown. The issuance is distinct from the Kingdom’s international dollar sukuk announced earlier in September.
