Story details

Scottie Resources released further gold assays on 28 October from the Blueberry Contact Zone at its Scottie Gold Mine Project in British Columbia. Hole SR26-526 returned 23.1 grams per tonne gold over 7.00 metres at Blueberry 3, including 72.9 grams per tonne over 2.10 metres. The same hole returned 23.1 grams per tonne over 6.00 metres at Blueberry 5.

At Fifi 2, hole SR26-532 intersected 20.6 grams per tonne over 5.60 metres, including 33.5 grams per tonne over 3.30 metres. Scottie interprets the drilling as extending high-grade mineralisation down dip beyond existing preliminary economic assessment stope outlines. These are assay intervals from drill core; true widths have not yet been established by drilling.

The company completed 61,578 metres in 227 holes during its largest drilling campaign. More than 85% of the 2026 assay results remained pending at the announcement date. Scottie expects additional results through the remainder of the year and into early 2027, providing further information for geological interpretation.

An updated mineral resource estimate and feasibility study are planned for the first half of 2027. The existing estimate, announced in May 2025, contains 703,000 ounces of gold in the inferred category and excludes the subsequent drilling. The new intersections therefore indicate potential for an update rather than constituting a newly declared reserve.
