Story details

Sprintex announced on 28 October that it had received €815,000, approximately A$1.3 million, in commercial payments from the Netherlands-based Mest Water business. The funds comprise €715,000 of production deposits and €100,000 settling previously delivered equipment. The total payment is therefore not entirely revenue for newly manufactured systems.

The deposits secure manufacturing of the first 40 compressor systems, prioritising high-capacity 800-kilogram-per-hour configurations alongside initial 300-kilogram-per-hour units. Their combined contract value is approximately €1.43 million. Commercial manufacturing has begun at Sprintex’s Kunshan facility in China following on-farm testing and engineering optimisation.

The work advances an existing €25.7 million order book, equivalent to A$41.1 million, comprising 700 systems scheduled for progressive delivery through late 2028. The orders include 200 smaller systems and 500 larger systems used with Mest Water’s agricultural waste-processing technology. The overall order value is not cash already received or revenue already recognised.

Sprintex’s technical team is also working in the Netherlands on commissioning upgraded prototypes. Future deployment depends on manufacturing, delivery and customer implementation. The company cited agricultural nutrient-recovery requirements as a demand driver, while illustrative expansion volumes remain conditional on future demand and additional orders rather than forming part of the presently confirmed order book.
