Story details
Sudan’s prime minister Kamil Idris visited fuel stations in Khartoum on 30 September with energy minister Al-Mutasim Ibrahim and state governor Ahmed Othman Hamza, according to the government’s announcement.
Idris directed additional petroleum-product deliveries and asked station operators to serve customers faster to reduce queues. He also called on banks to fix technical problems in banking applications used by customers.
The governor said fuel was available and further deliveries would follow. These are official statements on distribution; the announcement gives no delivery volume or independently measured reduction in waiting times.
