The share of people aged 16 to 74 who said they used generative artificial intelligence rose from 19.2% in 2025 to 37.6% in 2026, according to TÜİK’s 2026 Artificial Intelligence Statistics released on 2 October. The highest reported rate was 64.9% among people aged 16 to 24.
Among enterprises with at least 10 employees, the share reporting use of any AI technology increased from 7.5% to 14%. The figures draw on TÜİK surveys of information technology use by individuals and businesses. They measure reported use and do not assess its intensity or economic effects.
