The UAE signed an agreement in Bangkok on 18 October to host the 2029 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group and IMF in Abu Dhabi. UAE financial officials and the institutions’ leaders signed it.
The meetings are expected to bring together finance ministers, central bank governors and other participants from 191 countries. This is a future event, not an economic outcome already delivered.
The bank aims to launch both by October’s end and says it financed 6,911 housing units under its 2025 targets.
Its unaudited filing shows ₦23.81bn insurance revenue and ₦1.60bn pretax profit for the period ended September 30, 2026.
