Story details
UAE Minister of Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi said the country's non-oil foreign trade exceeded AED 1.9 trillion in the first half of 2026. He made the statement on 7 September at the opening of the AIM Investment Summit at Dubai World Trade Centre.
Al Zeyoudi linked the result to an economy supported by international partnerships, infrastructure and a business-oriented regulatory environment. The summit brought together 25,000 participants from 191 countries and organisations, with 540 speakers across 103 sessions. The trade figure is a government-reported aggregate for the six-month period, rather than a separate measure of exports, imports or a particular product category.
