Story details

EgyptAir selected Sitecore’s AI-powered digital experience platform for a planned update to customer-facing services, according to Sitecore’s Cairo-datelined release of 8 October 2026. Selection is a procurement decision, not evidence that the system is operating.

The airline intends to bring content management, customer data and personalization together across its website, mobile app and other channels. Sitecore says its cloud product combines AI tools with content and data functions; agentic features could help teams adapt material across languages and channels.

Implementation is expected to be led by Arcsen within a wider transformation project. The release gives no timeline, contract value, passenger target, revenue estimate or customer-response measure, and does not say AI content generation or automated passenger support is live.

The next milestone is implementation and confirmation of available functions. EgyptAir links the investment to a fleet-expansion strategy through 2035, but no causal effect on traffic or airline performance is measured. Assessing service gains will require operating evidence after deployment.
