Story details

Vancouver-based AGEDB Technology said on 21 October that it had begun a preliminary technical assessment of possible artificial-intelligence applications for its graph-database technology. The company is evaluating a concept that would pair locally installed PostgreSQL and Apache AGE graph analysis with an AI agent, alongside a separate “Personal AI Operating System” idea.

The release stresses that the work is an evaluation, not a return to full-scale development. Its September memorandum with an unnamed South Korean company is generally non-binding; it requires neither party to develop, launch or commercialize a product, and no pilot schedule or investment was agreed. AGEDB said it had discontinued graph-database operations in 2025. No product launch, revenue or definitive commercial arrangement was announced.
