The 12th World Green Economy Summit (WGES) is scheduled to open in Dubai on 21 October under the theme “From Success to Scale: Showcasing the Green Economy.” In a 20 October preview, WAM said the event at Dubai World Trade Centre would bring together 135 speakers. The summit is organised by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority and the World Green Economy Organization.
Its four pillars are Energy Technology and Infrastructure, Business Strategy and Transition, Water and Food Security, and Finance. The agenda includes sessions on clean energy costs, storage, greener data centres, reverse-osmosis technologies and climate investment.
