Story details

Future Health – A Global Initiative by Abu Dhabi released a white paper with Strategy& Middle East outlining four priorities for translating next-generation therapeutics into patient care, WAM reported on 22 October. The proposals cover precision clinical trials using genomic and longitudinal health data, managed-access pathways, deeper capabilities in selected therapeutic fields, and tracking long-term patient outcomes.

The paper says genomics, multi-omics and AI can help researchers study disease mechanisms and define patient groups, while increasingly precise therapies may require specialised trials, clinical infrastructure and follow-up evidence. It forecasts that cell and gene therapies and RNA/DNA therapeutics could grow roughly seven- to eightfold from current levels by 2033. The report presents a strategic blueprint and market forecast, not adopted policy or a claim that these therapies are already available through a new Abu Dhabi programme.
