Story details

Khalifa University of Science and Technology has developed InstrucTwin, an agentic artificial-intelligence platform for schools and other education providers, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on 21 October. The university says the system brings specialised agents together for tasks including lesson and assessment preparation, feedback, identifying learning gaps and institutional analytics.

In collaboration with Abu Dhabi’s Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), the university has supported materials for ADEK’s AI Literacy Framework and educator training. The announcement says more than 21,400 educators received AI professional development through InstrucTwin, including advanced training for more than 170 designated AI Leads. The platform is designed to work within school rules and approved curriculum content, with educators retaining oversight; the release does not report independent learning-outcome results.
