The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure reported on 20 October that a delegation led by Undersecretary Sharif Al Olama had concluded a five-day working visit to China. It held discussions with Chinese companies on potential cooperation in advanced energy technologies, storage systems and electric mobility.
The ministry said the delegation also discussed clean energy, hydrogen, nuclear energy, smart mobility and port digitisation, including a visit to Shanghai’s Yangshan Phase IV terminal. The release describes opportunities under study; it does not announce a signed project or committed investment.
