Story details

A 20 October announcement reported that Sharjah National Oil Corporation (SNOC) and Norway’s Equinor had signed a memorandum of understanding to assess potential downstream cooperation. The companies said the scope includes storage, infrastructure, logistics, trading, supply and shipping of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), natural-gas liquids and other oil and gas products.

The memorandum also covers selected energy-transition opportunities and possible optimisation of petrochemical storage facilities in the UAE. It sets an exploration framework; the announcement does not report a final investment decision, project value or committed volumes.
