The Bank of England’s 2026 Q2 banking-capital release, published on 30 September, put the UK sector’s Common Equity Tier 1 ratio at 15.1%, broadly stable from the previous quarter. CET1 capital increased 1.6% quarter on quarter to £470 billion.
