Story details
Ajman Government presented an agentic AI service ecosystem at Ai Everything Abu Dhabi on 6–7 October, according to WAM. The unified pavilion brought together the emirate’s digital, economic development, finance, municipal planning and free-zone authorities. The exhibition was held at ADNEC in Abu Dhabi; the services described are for Ajman institutions and businesses.
Ajman Digital Department said the ecosystem builds on Ajman Government’s earlier launch of what it described as the UAE’s first government transaction for renewing a business licence using agentic AI. At the exhibition, Ajman Municipality & Planning Department showed a commercial-contract renewal service, while the Department of Economic Development presented business-licence renewal. Ajman Free Zones Authority was launching a OneClick assistant for business setup and licence issuance during the event.
The OneClick journey described by WAM spans activity selection, data collection, identity and compliance checks, document handling, electronic signature, payment, application submission and follow-up through to licence issuance. The Ajman Department of Finance also showed a Smart Financial Advisor for staff seeking information in financial legislation and documents. These are descriptions from the participating authorities; the report gives no independent accuracy, completion-time, adoption or cost results.
The announcement illustrates an attempt to coordinate several government steps through conversational software, which could reduce the need for applicants to move between departments if integrations work as described. That is a potential process benefit, not a verified result. Assessing the services would require published measures for successful completion, error correction, human escalation, accessibility and handling of sensitive identity and financial data.
